        Some personal facts:
My name is pronounced "Katazhyna Papzhytska" (or something like that).
I was born on January 15, 1967, in Poznan, Poland. Both my husband and I are Polish.
I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Philosophy of the University of Pittsburgh.
My undergraduate career began in Poznan, where I have finished the first year of a psychology-focused program at Adam Mickiewicz University. I have then spent one year as a visiting student in Oxford University, focusing on philosophy and psychology. The last two years of my undergraduate work came to fruition at Harvard, wherefrom I also have my B.A in philosophy.
One of the (if not, the) most wonderful experiences of my life was a chance to attend the United World College of the Atlantic, located on the beautiful shores of the southern part of Wales, in an old St. Donat's Castle. Atlantic College is one of approximately ten (they are growing in number) international two-year schools, ending with the International Baccalaureate degree (United World Colleges). Its mission is to promote international understanding and broadly conceived service to the community. If you'd like to learn more, I have wonderful things to say.
